The Ministry of Construction and Housing wishes to express its sincerest
gratitude to all those who have participated in its activities
since its formation.
Their work have made a profound impact on the society through providing
the basic needs in terms of infrastructure development necessary
for the welfare of the Iraqi people.
Our ministry through its site on the internet wishes to give an exposure
of the commissions and companies that lie under its umbrella.
There is a complete description about the capabilities of each of
them and the works that they have accomplished throughout the
years in addition to the current ongoing works.
Three commissions perform their works in the ministry. The first is the
Housing Commission; the second is the Building Commission and
lastly the Roads and Bridges Commission.
More than ten companies lie within our ministry performing the different
construction activities required by these commissions.
Furthermore, several national centers for consultations,
construction laboratories and research provide services for the
construction market; finally several general directorates perform
efficient work in planning, follow-up, technical, administrative,
legal, financial and commercial aspects.
A newly formed House Holding Bank also provides mortgage services for
the general public where it functions through directions from our
ministry.
The Ministry of Construction and Housing offers services in executing
residential, commercial, industrial, electronic, military,
municipal, road and bridge, airport, school and university,
institutional and governmental building aspects. It possesses the
efficiency and expertise required to lay huge hopes for building
the aspired newly developed Iraq.
Finally, our ministry wishes to express its readiness to have fruitful
cooperation in order to lay the foundations of an expected
construction revolution in our beloved country.
